MP Supports Warm Homes Scheme

Alison Seabeck MP has welcomed the ‘Share the Warmth’ initiative by British Gas for vulnerable customers.

British Gas are offering £50 to anyone who can identify a household in need. That household will receive free cavity wall or loft insulation and will also receive a further £50.

Alison said:

“This is a welcome gesture and I hope that my constituents will take advantage of it. Today’s energy bills take out a big chunk of people’s outgoings and any help towards reducing them is very useful.
You could qualify if you are in receipt of certain benefits, such as pension credit, unemployment benefits or benefits for disabled children.
